During excavations in Małe Rockshelter, a group of students led by Michał Leloch, roamed the area around Sąspów Valley in search for new sites. Extensive surveys brought promising results. W have identified several new potential sites related to the processing of flint. We hope that analyzes of collected artefacts will grant us knowledge about their chronology.

During surveys we often find surprising structures, like this well in the middle of the forest. Phot. Michał Leloch

Students during surveys around Sąspowska Valley. The environmental conditions were not ideal for the search, in particular a dense forest cover, but we did manage to find some interesting sites related to, among others, mining and processing of flints. Phot. Michał Leloch
